Bob Vale Coach Sales are one of the UK's longest-established, trustworthy, independant dealers in used coaches and PSV vehicles serving the UK and the rest of the world.

Bob Vale formed the company that bears his name, trading since 1990, buying and selling coaches and buses as an independant dealer. He originally operated from a base in Southall, moving later to a site in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. From there, he sold vehicles with the help of well-respected industry experts Reg Crowe and Mick O'Connor. When Bob retired in 2005, Philip Tedd bought the company and Bob Vale Coach Sales became a limited company. The company continued to trade from its base in High Wycombe, as well as opening a second base in Thruxton, Hampshire, which is where Philip Tedd has based his successful Amport & District Coaches coach-hire operation for over 30 years. In August 2009, the then 90-year-old Reg also retired when the company transferred all of its operations to Thruxton.

In 2020, the coaching industry as a whole suffered major disruption with the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak. This forced the company to re-examine its operations. The decision was made to close-down Bob Vale Coach Sales as a standalone limited company and instead continue to provide a service by operating under the uumbrella of its sister company Amport & District Coaches Ltd in order to reduce operating costs. We still provide the same marketing role and aim to continue to support our customers as we always have.

Our base in Thruxton is well-positioned to serve all areas of the UK, being easily accessible by road or rail, and also being relatively close to Southampton Airport which helps our customers from further north in England, Scotland, Ireland and beyond.

We provide a service predominantly within the UK, but have also exported coaches worldwide to countries including Cyprus, Malta, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Jamaica, Japan, the Falkland Islands and as far as New Zealand.
We have also acted on the behalf of major finance companies and operators to market their coaches.
